Who We Are

I am a dog lover!

The first time I had ever held one was when I was a toddler, and my dad brought home this giant, shaggy German Shepherd from the shelter.

We named him Goliath because he acted as big as an elephant at times but mostly just loved to slobber on you if you gave him any attention.

It is hard to be a dog owner because they have become an essential part of your life. As a dog lover, I have learned that furry friends are much more than man's best friend: they are family!

They provide unconditional love and companionship while still being funny, quirky, and just plain old fun. But what do you do when it feels like your family member has turned on you?

I never thought that I would have a pet, let alone more than one. And then my life changed when my daughter got her first dog, and it was love at first sight for me.

So ... now we're in the situation of having two pets, a Maltese-Shih Tzu mix and an Australian Terrier.

It's been amazing to see how these little guys change our lives for the better and how they make us notice things about each other that we didn't know before.
